Will the extension match the rest of my house?
That’s the whole point — we match the new work to your existing rooflines, materials and finishes so it reads as one home, not an obvious add-on. We’ll talk through how we’ll tie it in at the consult.
Do extensions and additions need council approval?
Most do, though some smaller additions can fall under exempt or complying development depending on your property and council. We’ll flag what your project is likely to need at the consult and point you in the right direction so there are no surprises.
Can you build a granny flat?
Yes — self-contained additions and granny flats are part of what we do. We’ll frame and finish it to suit your block and your existing home, whether it’s for family, a home office or extra space.
Do I have to move out during an extension?
Usually not. Because an extension is mostly built onto or alongside the existing home, we can often keep your place liveable while we work, and we keep the site tidy and contained. For larger jobs we’ll talk through the staging with you.
